John Carroll is president of Unlimited Performance, Inc. in Mount Pleasant. He is the former president of the board of the Dee Norton Lowcountry Children’s Center and served as president of the Mount Pleasant Business and Professional Association. John was the first layperson to serve on the Clergy Personnel Advisory Committee for the Catholic Diocese of Charleston. His book Sales Illustrated: 68 Sales Lessons from Everyday Life is available in three languages and his approaches have attracted attention around the globe, including articles appearing in Chief Executive China magazine, Charleston Regional Business Journal and The Catholic Miscellany. He currently serves on the board of LifeWorks Charleston and is the founding board chair of Camp Rise Above, providing summer camp experiences to children facing life-threatening illness and life-challenging situations. He and his wife Lori have two grown daughters and live in Mount Pleasant.
